Shipping Policy
Please note that we ship with Romanian Post and DPD (for national shipments) and as soon as we shipped the package out it is no longer our responsibility. You can track your order on the Post or DPD website if you opted for the tracked shipping. You will receive the tracking number along with your shipping notification.
We will not perform tracking for you.
If there seems to be any problem feel free to contact local post services or DPD. If you chose the untracked shipping there isn't any information we can provide for you so you will have to wait for the parcel to arrive or contact the local post services to check for it.
On request, we can ship parcels with express shipping by private courier companies but the whole cost of the shipment will be covered by the customer.
Our processing time is up to 1 week, shipping time is out of our hands and depends on where you live, what you ordered and if it is going through customs.
Shipping times from the day of the shipment:
Romania
- Fast Courier: 24-48 hours
- Romanian Post: 2-7 business days
Europe:
- Tracked Shipping: 3-10 business days (but usually around 7)
- Untracked Shipping: 1-3 weeks
Rest of the World:
- Tracked Shipping: 5-14 business days (but usually no longer than 10)
- Untracked Shipping: 2-5 weeks
Important! Please take into consideration that there can be delays on International Shipments for up to 1 month due to the Covid pandemic. An untracked parcel is considered lost only after 8 weeks from the shipment date.
After your order has been marked as fulfilled, it will take a few more days for it to ship, since we only go to the post office once or twice per week. Drop-offs are usually announced on my Insta stories.
Important about Untracked Shipping!
Untracked Shipping refers to the old fashioned way of International Shipping using post stamps. Even though this is the the most economic shipping type, there are also some downs to it. Please take all these into consideration before choosing it.
Untracked Shipping, as the title says, does not benefit from tracking services therefore, the progress can't be tracked and there are no updates received from your parcel other than the ones you will receive when the order is shipped and when the package is ready to be picked up. So, please don't ask for a tracking number or additional information if you opted for untracked shipping, because there is nothing I can provide. Because of the missing option of tracking, the parcel is also not eligible for for refunds or resending in case of stolen, broken or lost goods. Please keep this in mind while opting for this, because it is also written in Romanian Post's policy and there is nothing I can do in such cases. So, Jules Crystal Design does not have any responsibility towards lost, delayed, damaged parcels send via Untracked Shipping.
Also, please keep in mind that since the parcels are being sent out with post stamps, there is no invoice or receipt I receive as 'shipment proof'.
If you don't want to take the risk and want a tracked delivery from shipping until arrival, assurance in case of lost, delayed and damaged goods, and shorter waiting time, I strongly suggest getting the Tracked Shipping.
Why can't I choose Untracked Shipping?
If you wanted to opt for the Untracked Shipping but you don't see the option at checkout, here is why:
- Your products are too heavy.
Unlike the Tracked Shipping, the Untracked Shipping has a weight limit. Each product in your cart as a weight and at checkout they are automatically summed up. If you total cart weight is higher than 500g, the Untracked option will no longer appear and the Tracked one will be mandatory. - Your products are too thick.
Since the products have to fit in a postal box, they can have almost any length but not a thickness higher than 4cm including the box and the wrapping because otherwise, it won't fit.
Example:
Even though, there is plenty if space in the box with the sphere, the diameter of it it's beyond the limit. Therefore, the sphere is not available for untracked shipping. The tower is actually larger, but because it has a rather longer than thicker shape, it can fit in the box.
Here is a real life example of how a parcel should look like:
